Mr. Justin Sendikaddiwa, the LC3 chairman, said the fund would be used by all parish development committees according to priority areas which include construction of schools, desilting of water channels and provision of piped water. Sendikaddiwa was speaking at the launching of the parish development committees for Rubaga Division on Tuesday. Mr Takuba Kabuye, who represented the mayor Sebaana Kizito, presided over the function held at Namirembe Mothers Union hall. "since the grader Rubaga shared with Kawempe broke down eight months ago, there has been little work done. lack of money in the drought period made work more difficult," Sendikaddiwa said. He urged residents to pay their taxes promptly and added that out of 23,000 tax payers in the division, only 37 had paid tax. Senddikadiwa said development would be poor without taxes. Ends
