KAMPALA - The Police chief of operations, Francis Rwego, yesterday said the elections in Kampala were generally calm.
KAMPALA - The Police chief of operations, Francis Rwego, yesterday said the elections in Kampala were generally calm. He said there were, however, isolated cases of malpractice that the Police and returning officers were handling. He said the rest of the country also registered several cases of election fraud which were being investigated. Rwego said the Police had deployed in Bubulo county, Mbale district to deal with election-related violence there.
