The Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Ltd invites sealed bids from reputable suppliers for the supply of Overhead Line Conductors. If your firm is interested and can meet the requirements of the request for proposals, in addition to all other requirements, its bid must be submitted to; The Manager Procurement Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. P.O. Box 7059, 23/33 Amber House, Kampala Rd, Kampala, Uganda on or before 2:00 pm on 19th October, 2001. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of the bid price. The request for proposals may be collected at the same address indicated above. A non-refundable fee of UShs 50,000 payable to the credit of Uganda Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd must be paid by the interested bidder at our District office on Pilkington Road and the receipt enclosed in the sealed bid. Bids will be opened after the deadline time in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the offices of Uganda Electricity Distribution Co.
