Suspected Turkana warriors recently killed two elderly men and raided about 50 head of cattle from Kapedo, Kathile, Sidok and Loyoro sub-counties.
They also slashed gardens of sorghum for the Teuso (Ik) in Kalapata, Kotido district.
The out-going 3rd Division commander, Col. Geoffrey Taban, and MP for Dodoth county Ael Ark Lodou confirmed the incident.
“We may be forced to flush them out of Karamoja if they continue disturbing our people,†Taban said.
Lodou said the Turkana used sticks to slash the crops and later drove their cattle to graze on the slashed crops.
He said the suspects belonged to kraals from Yaragete and Edapal, occupied by clansmen of Kenya assistant minister for labour, Ekwee Ethuro.
“The cows raided were driven towards Songot hills near the escarpment on the Uganda-Kenya border, Lodou said.
