By Juliet Nankinga THE Minister of in-charge of Luweero Triangle, Tim Lwanga has said Luweero creditors will be paid by the end of 2001/2002 financial year. The Financial year ends in June 2002. Lwanga was addressing journalists at his office yesterday. He said arrangements had been finalised to ensure that all the creditors are paid. Luweero war claimants yesterday started a second week of pitch-camping at parliament, saying they want to meet President Yoweri Museveni. Lwanga said the President was to meet representative of the claimants on January 14 to discuss ways of paying genuine creditors. He dismissed as false rumours that Lt. John Kaggwa one of the Luweero bush-war kadongos died at Mulago Hospital.Kaggwa, No. RO 7332, a retired officer, was last week admitted to Mulago Hospital after he collapsed on Tuesday at the Parliament compound. He was paraded to the journalists. Lwanga also dismissed as false reports that some of the Luweero claimants at Parliament had died due to hunger. He said they had been given money for transport to take them back home but some accepted it and others who are still at Parliament rejected it. The claimants told the New Vision that they would stay at Parliament until they meet Museveni after 45 days are over. Lwanga announced that the report on Luweero creditors would be ready next week for submission to the President and lists of their names in the 22 districts would be displayed at sub-counties. Ends
