Teso leader visits Kenya subjects

THE Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) leader, Emorimor Augustine Lemakol Osuban, was yesterday set to visit the Teso district of Kenya on a special invitation by his subjects across the border.

A message from the Amagoro, the headquarters of the Kenya Teso district, said the Emorimor was to be chief guest at the Iteso cultural day celebrations. “We look forward to receiving your team. We wish you a merry X-mas and happy new year,” read the invitation message signed by Mr. George Ochokolo, the chairman of the Kenya ICU. Confirming the visit, Mr. Source Opak, the ICU’s deputy premier and information minister, said the Emorimor will be accompanied by over 60 people. These will include ministers, special assistants, journalists and traditional musicians.
