FORMER national boxer William Bagonza has died. Bagonza, 38, who donned the national light flyweight vest for three years, died on Saturday in Kasese after a short illness.

FORMER national boxer William Bagonza has died. Bagonza, 38, who donned the national light flyweight vest for three years, died on Saturday in Kasese after a short illness. "It is a shock," said Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation secretary Issa Odongkara yesterday. He has been Hima Boxing Club, which led to the National Novices Champions last month. Bagonza's highest moment was at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Ends.
