Sembiro meet concludes

By Lillian Ikulumet THE first edition of Geoffrey Sembiro volleyball cup concluded on Sunday at Lugogo indoor stadium. A total of eight teams participated. Zebra beat Lioness 2-0 while in the men's category Impala beat Hippos 2-1 (23-25,33-31,15-7). Hadija Namanda and Musa Watante were best spikers for women and men respectively. Best blockers were Doreen Ekemu and Bobby Ewange. Jacinta Nambalirwa and Tom Tumusiime emerged best setters while best receivers were Sarah Kaumi and Ayyub Asinga. Uganda Volleyball Federation patron Neko Ojala patron urged the organisers to open up the event to upcountry clubs. Ends
