Odong leads three women into Dasani final

ENTEBBE golfer Stephen Odong teamed up with three ladies and beat 12 other teams to the final of the Dasani Golf Series.

Playing on Team 6 that had Lydia Nantaba (32 pts), Bridget Basiima (37), and Pauline Nambi (39) Odong found the right formation.

The three ladies were also the first to make the June 25 finals due at Kitante.

Team 6 collected 141 stable-ford points to qualify alongside Team 2 (129) that had Vicent Katutsi (30), Henry Lujja (33), Alexander Kasendwa (36) and Joseph Bogera (30).

Individual subsidiary prizes went to Innocent Opio and Phillip Marsh.
The ladies’ individual accolade went to Jamila Amisi (39) who beat Adiya Kako by two strokes.

There are two more qualifiers in Mbarara and Fort Portal before the finals at the Uganda Golf Club.

The winner at Kitante will have an all-expenses paid trip to one of the major golf resorts in the world courtesy of sponsors Dasani.
