HEATHENS rugby team, the team that was crowned by USPA in 2009 as sports personality of the year has received an early accolade in the new year.
The sports scribes yesterday during their monthly gathering at Lugogo voted Heathens the personality of April after clinching the national rugby title for keeps with unbeaten record.
Kampala City boxing, Kobs U-23 teams, chess player Elijah Emojong, athletics’ Sarah Nambawa, Annet Negesa and Victoria rugby team were all commended for their good performances.
