JUSTINE Bayigga set a new national 100m dash mark at the East Africa athletics championships where she won three gold medals. The event concluded on Sunday in Dar es Salaam.

Bayigga, who on Friday won the 200m gold and led the Ugandan team to the long relay gold, had a good start in the 100m sprint which saw her storm the finish line in 11.54 seconds. She beat Kenya’s Roseline Idinali (11.70) and Ethiopian Faiya Kasen (11.87).
