Mrs. Museveni thanked Egypt for the support to Uganda’s health sector, saying it is such cooperation that would enable a better global world which every country strives to build.

She also said her wish was to have the hospital well equipped and with sufficient personnel to adequately offer medical services.

Nduhura said because of the hospital’s location and big catchment area, it is among the 17 hospitals to be rehabilitated under the World Bank loan.

He was grateful for the equipment and medicines donated and commended the First Lady for strengthening the cooperation of various players in the field of health.
