University League: Even contest as IUEA face Kampala

After a disappointing run of results last season, International University of East Africa (IUEA) are looking to overturn their fortunes this time round.

IUEA are in their second season of the University Football League after going winless in 2019.

On Wednesday, they will host two-time champions Kampala University in their opening game this season.

IUEA and Kampala were pitted in the same group last season and managed a draw, with neither of the two teams finding the back of the net.

When they meet again, both teams will be hoping to outwit each other.

The two sides failed to advance from the group stages last season. However, a new year brings forward fresh challenges, and so a different score from last year's 0-0 draw should not come as a surprise.

IUEA hope to make it out of the group while Kampala seek to reignite their glory of old, last savored in 2016.
