The boda-boda remains a major safety challenge in the Rukaari Mbarara rally in Mbarara.

The boda-bodas ferrying milk to the trading centres were all over the route.

Meanwhile, six minutes, 38 seconds was the best time posted in stage one of the Rukaari-Lake Mburo Mbarara rally by ajiv Ruparelia who is navigated by Enock Olinga in Volkswagen Polo.

Ponsiano Lwakataka and Ronald Ssebuguzi came second and third with 6.51 and 7.07 minutes respectively.

The 28 crews now head to service before winding up the day with the 6.4km super special stage at Mwesigwa resort .
