KCCA FC will start life without midfielder Allan Okello following his move to Algerian top tier Paradou Athletic Club

The 19-year-old together with his agent plus KCCA FC officials traveled to Algeria on Friday to seal the four years deal.

The reigning FUFA male player of the year 2019 joined KCCA in 2015 before he played in the FUFA Juniors League for two years. He was later promoted to the senior side in 2017.

Okello made his debut for KCCA FC senior team on February 27, 2017, at 16 years old and scored a hat-trick against Onduparaka FC in a game that ended 7-0 in favour of the Lugogo side.

The left-footed player who was left with five months his contract declined to renew it and opted for greener pastures.

Okello's contract with AC Paradou has a sell-out close that guarantees KCCA FC 20% in case he is sold to another club.

By the time of his departure, Okello was the club's top scorer in the Uganda Premier League this season with six goals from 10 first-round games of the 2019/2020 season.

He joins several other Ugandan players plying their trade in North Africa including; Khalid Aucho (Misr Lel Makkasa Sporting Club), Abdu Lumala (Pyramids), Emmanuel Arnold Okwi (It tihad Alexandria), former Vipers captain Tadeo Lwanga (Tanta Sports Club), striker Derrick Paul Nsibambi (Smouha Sports Club), Allan Kyambadde (El Gouna).

In November last year, Paradou eliminated KCCA FC in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round after a 4-1 aggregate score with Okello scoring KCCA's only goal in both legs.

Paradou is currently 12th  in the Algerian top tier with 18 points from 14 games.

Okello will be expected to make his debut on Thursday when Paradou meets Club Sportif Constantinois.
