Invitation to bid for works in the proposed construction of atomic energy council's headquarters
- The Atomic Energy Council (AEC) is a government agency mandated to regulate the peaceful applications of ionising radiation in Uganda for the safety of society and the environment from its dangers. In order to enhance the regulatory oversight for control of radiation sources, Council acquired land in Mpoma-Mukono district to establish its Headquarters.
- In a phased approach, AEC has allocated funds to be used in the construction of the Technical support block with exterior works and now invites sealed bids from eligible construction firms;
- Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding (ODB) methods contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all eligible bidders.
