Sharif Sentoogo, alias Madi, 20, who died in Turkey on November 3, was found with missing body organs following a postmortem at Kampala Capital City Authority
mortuary.

As a result, Sentoogo's father, Swaibu Kamya, has filed a case with the International Police (Interpol) in Kampala, in which he is seeking justice.

According to Kamya, his son is likely to have been a victim of organ trade, after his brain, heart, liver, and kidneys were found missing.

"I suspect this was a planned move-in which my son's organs were harvested before he died. His body had been cut and sewn back with no organs," Kamya noted.

Suspect arrested

Sunday Vision has learned that Kamya's case has been referred to the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) after it emerged that one of the suspects linked to the harvesting of Sentoogo's body organs is in Kampala.

The suspect was arrested and detained at Kawempe Police station, but she was later released on Police bond.

The Police case is registered as SD 03/20/11/2019.

According to a medical certificate of cause of death, signed by Dr. Richard Ambayo, Sentoogo died in Turkey, but the cause of his death was "not established."

The report from the Kampala Capital City Authority mortuary, dated November 28, says the date of Sentoogo's death is unknown.

Background

Sentoogo was hit on the head by a Nigerian, only identified as Bullet, on November 3, during a bar brawl in Istanbul, Turkey, before he died at Samatya Education and
Research Hospital.

Witnesses say it all started when Bullet, the owner of Afro Istanbul Club, asked one of his workers, identified as Fat, to stay behind because she had reportedly broken a
chair.

Sentoogo is said to have intervened because Fat, a fellow Ugandan, was his girlfriend and that they were supposed to retire home together.

In the ensuing exchange, the Nigerian boss hit Sentoogo with a whiskey bottle and he collapsed.

Bar bouncers reportedly held Sentoogo for the Nigerian boss to hit him again, twice on the head, before he blacked out.

They allegedly locked him in one of the rooms, but later, one of the bouncers took Sentoogo back to his room, which is near the bar. He later slipped into a coma and was
put on life support, before being pronounced brain dead.

Sentoogo's body was flown back to Uganda last week and was buried at his ancestral home in Butuntumula, Luwero district. It is said the Nigerian community in Turkey fundraised to clear the hospital bills and flight fares.

"The doctors said the young man was brain dead but his organs were still functioning. Organs trade is a very lucrative business here," a source, in Turkey, revealed.
According to the source, Turkish police arrested Fat, the Nigerian boss, and the bouncers. But they were all later released.

According to sources in Turkey, the incident happened during a show, where two Ugandan musicians; Nina Roz and Rodney Y Kabakko, performed. Sentoogo was
in Istanbul, Turkey doing kyeyo (odd jobs)
