KAMPALA - Flamboyant Kampala city socialite, Brian Kirumira aka Bryan White, 33, after being dragged to CID by various people, including the NRM National Vice-Chairperson Eastern region Capt. Mike Mukula over debts, has turned his anger to the government for not supporting him.

"I supported, worked and even invested my money in the government,  but if they have decided to put me down, it is okay,  besides I'm fed up with Uganda," he said while at CID in Kibuli, Kampala on Friday.

Mukula, through his twitter handle, confirmed reports of his arrest and cautioned him against misrepresenting President Yoweri Museveni.

"Brian white is in the hands of the CID - UGANDA POLICE for several cases - impunity and attempt to be untouchable in Uganda..." he tweeted

Bryan White, who has occasionally claimed to be a supporter of President Yoweri Museveni and the NRM party, is famed for his lavish lifestyle and dishing out money to revelers in Kampala.

Bryan White says he inherited riches from his late Italian stepfather Claudio. Claudio was a businessman dealing in real estate. He would buy old houses, renovate them and re-sell them.

Bryan White has confessed having debts, but said if the government can also be indebted, why not him?
