The Vision Group board has thought long and hard about the future of the company and eventually zeroed on a 10year diversification drive to boost company revenues. 

This was revealed at an investor briefing at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) headquarters at the UAP business park in Nakawa, Kampala.  Vision Group Managing Director, Robert Kabushenga explained that the new strategy will ensure that the company is successful in the next 10 years.

President Museveni assured the public that once they go electronic, the government will be able to trace them.

"I know this because in my other work of fighting when you go electronic, you can be traced, therefore I don't believe that once you go electronic, you are not traceable," said Museveni at the 4th international conference on tax in Africa (ICTA) and the African tax administration forum's 10th anniversary celebrations.

Mutaasa Kafeero closed. Traders want Police to return their seized phones.
 

Police deployed along Mutaasa Kafeero plaza during the operation aimed at cracking down the illegally stolen phone, Over 300 suspect were arrested and 1600 phones were confiscated in October.
