Today in History: Uganda mourns former VP Samson Kisekka

Kisekka, popularly known as ‘Omusawo Omutendeke’ died as the family prepared to take him to Cromwell Hospital.
Flags flew at half-mast as Uganda mourned Dr. Samson Kisekka, former Vice President of Uganda and former Senior Presidential Advisor who had passed on in London the previous day at the age of 87. Kisekka, popularly known as ‘Omusawo Omutendeke' died as the family prepared to take him to Cromwell Hospital.
