If the American Ambassador to Uganda, Deborah Malac, is still waiting for singers Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo to agree to her request and meet for a talk, and pacify their relationship, that time might never come.

On Wednesday, the songstress introduced her groom-to-be, Dr Hamza Ssebunya to her relatives' at the late Godfrey Mabirizi's palatial home in Naguru, Kampala.

After news emerged that Rema, as she is popularly known by her fans, had broken up with the BET Award-winning artiste Eddy Kenzo, with whom she has a child, their fans waited with bated breath for the day the relationship was to be official. And now that is settled.

The ceremony attracted some of the town's top businessmen and moneybags. Rema is popular for songs like Oli Wange, Kukaliba and Deep In Love.
