Buganda Province remained on course to retain the FUFA Drum Competition title following their 4-2 victory against Sebei in the final round of the group stages.

The victory saw Buganda finish top in Group B with 15 points, five ahead of Lango.

Vianne Ssekajugo scored a brace in a man-of-the-match before Paul Ssekulima and Baker Buyala added the other goals for Buganda. Johas Ayeko and Tomex Chemoges were on target for Sebei.

In other group game, Ankole settled for a goalless draw with Lango at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara

The top two sides from the four groups qualified for the quarterfinalists. In the new format this year, all the quarterfinalists will converge at one venue and play to determine the champion.
