Despite winning their 13th league title, KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi feels his side still has a lot to do.

"We still have a lot to do since our competitors were operating at 50%. We are have also been operating at 50% so I assume when we are operating at 55% next season, we are going to be more dangerous. We want to dominate Ugandan football," noted Mutebi.

 

Mutebi made the remarks after KCCA thrashed Maroons 6-1 on Saturday to finish the 2018/19 season in stunning fashion.

Patrick Kaddu scored a brace while Muzamiru Mutyaba, Allan Okello, Allan Kyambadde and Herbert Achai chipped in with strikes of their own to finish the season on 66 points, seven clear of Vipers. Seif Batte scored a consolation for Maroons.

KCCA club patron and the Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, KCCA acting executive director Andrew Kitaka, club chairman Aggrey Ashaba and FUFA president Moses Magogo were on hand to present medals and the league trophy to the team.

Elsewhere Police midfielder Juma Balinya won the golden boot having scored 19 goals while URA goalkeeper James Alitho won the golden glove. The duo also received a cash prize of sh1m.
