Mbarara town was over the weekend lit as thousands of worshipers thronged the Phaneroo International ministries revival convention that was held at Booma grounds.

This attracted majorly born again believers from churches in western Uganda, which is the epic centre of Uganda's revival worshipping. A cross-section of other believers like Muslims, Catholics, also attended.

The revival which started with street preaching, processions, and pastors' training on Friday, and a crusade on Saturday night, saw many getting healed and accepting Jesus Christ as their personal saviour.

Apostle Grace Lubega, the vision bearer of Phaneroo ministeries, and also main celebrant, was escorted by a big pastoral team which included, Apostle Emma Mawege, Pastor Zzaka Mutyaba, Pastor Brian Mwesigye, Sam Muyinda and Pastor Modesta Sweeny.

"Jesus rejects men who reject knowledge and wisdom. Prayers, titles, positions and riches are useless when you don't have the knowledge," Apostle Lubega preached.

Steven Fredrick Magomu the media Laison at Phaneroo ministries said the convention was successful since it managed to attract over 50,000 worshipers from all walks of life including Muslims. The convention which started on Friday ended on Sunday.

"Our major purpose of bringing this revival to Mbarara was basically to rekindle the fire that was birthed in western Uganda since it's the epic centre of the revival ministries and we believe that God is restoring our nation," said Magomu.

"It engaged all western based pastors from other ministries so Mbarara was on fire."
