EC clears Mugisha Muntu's New Formation

KAMPALA - The Electoral Commission on Tuesday cleared the formation of Mugisha Muntu's new formation.
According to a statement released by the convener, Alice Alaso, the next phase is gazetting the new political party dubbed, Alliance for National Transformation, which is expected to be complete in the next few weeks.
The statement also indicated that the date, venue and time for the official launch will be communicated soon.
The founder Mugisha Muntu had promised to hyave the party launched by 25th December 2018, however, the arrangement was delayed by the verification process by the Electoral commission.
