NIC 22 Police 21 

NIC netball team narrowly survived being humiliated by Police at the ongoing National Netball Rally in Luwero. The insurance side beat the cops 22-21 in the clubs category on Saturday. 

NIC had enjoyed a first-half lead with a margin of 15-7 but the second half saw Police bridge the gap as they scored 14 goals to Police’s seven goals. 

The clubs category has attracted five teams; defending champions NIC, Police, UPDF, Luwero and Ndejje University. 

In the secondary schools category, Buddo beat Ssingo 26-9, thumped Nankabirwa 41-12 and walloped Luwero 48-5 to top Pool C. 

Kitende who are playing in Group A beat their schoolmates Kitende Blue and Kitende Yellow to top their group.

The national rally has attracted a total of 80 teams.
