Farmers expo to offer solutions

The three-day event which will take place at Namboole stadium will start on 15th February and end on 17th February.

Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga has assured the public to expect advice from farming experts who will be exhibiting at this year's harvest Money Expo.

This was during the launch of third edition of the Harvest Money expo at the Vision Group headquarters in Kampala.

Kabushenga stated that there are a lot of fake farming inputs on the market but all the products to be exhibited at the expo will be genuine.

"Many farming inputs on the market are fake but we are going to make sure those exhibited at Namboole are genuine. The public will also be given expert advice on farming from the various farmers who will be exhibiting," Kabushenga said.

 

The three-day event which will take place at Namboole stadium will start on 15th February and end on 17th February.

Kabushenga said that as the year starts, many people want to make decisions on what to do throughout the year so the harvest money expo is the place that decision can be made on what to venture in.



He added that gates will be open from 6:00am till late. The public will be expected to pay an entrance fee of sh10,000 and every training session will cost sh10,000.

Some of the training sessions to expect include Bee keeping, irrigation, piggery, advisory services, poultry, small scale farming among others. 

The theme for this year's expo is Farming as a business.
