Uganda Christian University (UCU) will be out to break their quarterfinal jinx in the University Football League.
The Mukono-based side has not progressed past the last eight in the competition
They were eliminated by Uganda Martyrs University 2017, 2016 and 2015. Kampala International University eliminated them at the same stage in 2014.
UCU will it be looking to change that when they face two-time champions Kampala University (KU).
Finishing top of Group A with 13 points will give UCU confidence against KU who finished second in Group B with seven points.
In other quarterfinal games, Bugema will face IUIU while defending champions UMU take on Kyambogo.
YMCA and St Lawrence face off in the first quarterfinal game on today.
