Uganda Christian University (UCU) remained unbeaten in the Pepsi University Football League after their 2-2 draw away with Bugema University.

Despite dropping two points, UCU remained top of group D with 13 points, three above second placed Bugema University from the five games  played.

Eric Wadribo put the visitors ahead in the 53rd minute before Ezra Kaye doubled the lead for UCU in the 72rd minute. However, Bugema, pulled one back through Johnson Kasajja in the 75 and Issac Musiime eqaulised in the 81 minute.

Kumi Univesity and Gulu University are the other teams in the group.

The seventh edition of the university league returned bigger and better after Pepsi acquired the naming rights.
