KAMPALA - David Maswa won the second ticket to Dubai for the final leg of the Formula 1 at the Yas Marina Circuit in November.

Maswa who bought four tyres is the second winner of the trip to Dubai and six more tickets are still available in the ongoing City Tyres Pirelli promotion at all City Oil centres country wide.

Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga tipped the public to embrace and participate in the promotion because it is a trip worth the win.

"There is more than just watching the F1 cars. It is adventurous where you learn so many things including business besides networking," Kabushenga said.

He added that promotion has helped the growth of interest in Formula 1 as a sport among Ugandans and this can be justified by the feedback from people including those from upcountry.

"I also want to pass on the message from the people up-country. They have requested that City Tyres at least gives them one or two slots out of the eight," Kabushenga stated.

Other winners in the draw held on Thursday included David Ofwonya who won a full car service coupon, Biyinzinka Poultry firm who won 50 litres of fuel and Raymond Muzaya who won dinner for two at Café Javas.

To participate in the promotion, one has to buy four Pirelli tyres of any size at any City Oil centre to qualify to enter the draw.
