'Expect standard work at Yumbe hospital construction' - Aita

There are over 226 casual workers both locals and outside West Nile.

YUMBE  - The stakeholders for the construction of Yumbe general hospital in Yumbe district are worried of the cracks in the ongoing construction where the slabs are have been placed  by the contractor the concern was made during the site meeting  after the touring of the site.

The LC1 chairman for Kuru town council, Aziku Asiku informed the rest of the stakeholders that every time he comes to check on the project he sees cracks something that worries him and he asked the supervising whether the blocks for construction are tested and approved by him.

The Local council chairman for Kuru town also noted that there is tribalism and secreterianism among workers by the contractor.

He asked the supervising engineer to ensure that such cases are done away with in the project. 

There are over 226 casual workers both locals and outside West Nile.

But according to Joel Aita, the supervising engineer for the project there will be no shoddy work for Yumbe general hospital.

Aita asked the takeholders not to worry about the construction. "Do not get worried' cracks are normal and allowable in construction  they are caused due to over loading," he said.

Joel also thanked the people of Yumbe district and the neighbors for being very vigilant to ensure that the contractor delivers what is expected of them.
