All along, their golden plan is to present a history re-write of sorts by becoming the most successful club in Uganda.

Having ended Tornado Bee’s four-year grip on the title last year, there is a sense of so much more to come from Siva Koti’s Damani.

With the second round of the league underway, the club remains the only unbeaten side in the top tier.

On 36 points, they are getting closer to defending the title in a very convincing manner.

Riazat Shah struck brutally with a century of 108 from 105 balls in Damani’s 86 runs victory over KICC Sunday at the tricky Entebbe oval.

The holders continue to win in commanding fashion this season in spite of the stiff competition signals at the start of the campaign.

Saud Islam weighed in with a commendable half ton of 58 from 56 balls in what turned out to be a free scoring innings for Aziz Damani.

Meanwhile, Aneef Mohamed displayed a masterstroke performance scoring a century (100 off 923 balls) as Challengers upstaged Ceylon Lions by 32 runs at Kyambogo. The “forgotten” Arthur Kyobe struck a half century of 70 off 85 balls.

The weekend action was further dorminated by centuries with Premier’s Rajesh Nair scoring 140 from 101 in Premier’s 4wicket win over Strikers at Lugogo.
