KIGALI - Uganda can not be written off in the annual Kwibuka Cricket For Peace Tournament in Rwanda. That is that!
Two time winners (2014 and 2016), Rita Musamali and Co are chasing a record third title in the T20 competition that has attracted Zambia, Kenya, Uganda and hosts Rwanda.

"We are building for the future and that is why such events are especially dedicated to the youngsters.
"I believe they need such exposure to improve on their game" said acting CEO, Martin Ondeko Tuesday at lugogo during the flag off of the team to Rwanda.
In a repeat of last year's final, Uganda entertain Kenya in their opener on Thursday.
It is a revenge of sorts for Coach Habibu Mugalula's Girls who will be first time players at the Gahanga International Cricket stadium.
The supremely talented trio of Immaculate Nakisuyi, all-rounder Rita Musamali and leg spinner Stephanie Nampiina should give the team the much needed balance.
The three are tipped to feature in the senior national team for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup global qualifier next month in the Netherlands.
Nampiina alone left markings of ingenuity on the Kwibuka tournament last year where she emerged the MVP.
"We are determined to unleash a top-drawer performance in Rwanda. The girls had some time to gel and I think we are good to go" assistant captain Nakisuyi said.
The Kwibuka Cricket For Peace Tournament is held to commemorate the at least one million people that perished during the 19914 Rwanda Genocide.
