Walubi finished fourth in last year's Jinja show and he made a drastic improvement by finishing in the podium position.
Following his hard fought come back that saw him finish second behind Jas Mangat in the just concluded Jinja Rally challenge , Eastern Motor- club, Kephar Walubi has vowed to remain consistent for this year's National Rally Championship(NRC) title .
Walubi finished fourth in last year's Jinja show and he made a drastic improvement by finishing in the podium position.
Many drivers found it hard to negotiate through the Jinja Rally after heavy down pour that saw some of the big name casualties like Ronald Ssebuguzi and Arthur Blick out of the race.
"But in rally, if you are to be counted a good rally driver, you must be ready to drive and compete in any condition.
I am happy that I improved on my position to second this time. I know that I have the same car with the current leader Mangat , It will be to my advantage to give him a good run for his money in the Masaka rally show soon . I just need to be consistent enough and also make sure that my car is in good mechanical condition,'' said Walubi.
