WAKISO - The Police have arrested the suspected attacker of singer Moses Ssekibogo, best known as Mowzey Radio.
The suspect identified as Godfrey Wamala was found at a friend's home in Kyengera Wakiso district, where he had been hiding.
The suspect is recording a statement at Katwe Police Station and will be transferred to Entebbe Police Station.
Mowzey, 33, a father of five, described by many as a talented musician, died on Thursday last week at Case Clinic in Kampala, from head injuries he sustained during a brawl in a local bar in Entebbe.
Entebbe authorities have since closed the bar as investigations into the matter go on.
Mowzey's body was laid to rest at Kagga, Nakawuka in Wakiso district on Saturday. At the burial, Mowzey's mother, Jane Kasubo, cursed her son's killers.
"I feel pained, totally pained. However, what hurts me is that I did not see my son's killers. I curse those who killed my son. I curse you. I curse you," the teary Kasumba said.
Among the many eulogies, President Yoweri Museveni hailed the late as someone who inspired many youth through music.
