Police counting on home for ahead of Kirinya's visit

Police will look to build on its home form when it hosts Kirinya Jinja SS at Mandela National Stadium on Wednesaday having won two of three home games this season so far.

Vipers and Proline have suffered defeats while SC Villa was lucky to escape with a 1-1 draw. Police however suffered a 2-1 loss against Mbarara City in their last game on Saturday.  

"We have recovered from last week's fatigue. We need to win the game to rebuild our confidence," stated Police coach Abdullah Mubiru.

The Cops have so far collected 10 points, one less than Kirinya who defeated Proline 2-1 in their last tie at home in Bugembe.

Goalkeeper Tom Ikara will be returning for Kirinya after recovering from an injury.

"We are really motivated and ready for the game. The return of lkara has also given us a boost," said Kirinya coach Charles Ayiekoh.
