Kalusha Bwalya to head search for next Cranes coach

FUFA has revealed that Zambian football legend Kalusha Bwalya will head the interview panel for the next Uganda Cranes coach.

Bwalya will be assisted by a representative from National Council of Sports (NCS), Livingstone Kyambadde, FUFA technical director Asuman Lubowa and CEO Edgar Watson.

"Applications for the post of Uganda Cranes coach are invited starting 23rd to 29th October", stated Watson at Wednesday's weekly press conference.

Those interested in the post will also submit their applications via email to vacancy@fufa.co.ug

Interim coach Moses Basena's had his stay with the national team extended until the end of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in November.

In the five games Basena has been in charge of the national side, he has won two games, drawn one and lost two.

Basena stepped in for former boss Milutin Sredojevic who quit after FUFA failed to clear his outstanding arrears for more than four months.
