The singer is currently nursing wounds in hospital
Spice Diana, one of Uganda’s female singers is currently nursing wounds in hospital after being beaten at the Kampala Capital City Carnival, allegedly by Police.
“After my first performance at the carnival, I was beaten badly and disrespected by ruthless Police officers and I am nursing wounds,” the singer wrote on her social media accounts. She also shared her pictures on sick bed.
Although the cause is not yet clear, the Onsanula hit maker says:
“We give you power to protect us, keep law and order, but you are the same people that go against the law and do vice versa. Why should we be treated like strangers in our own country?”
She also announced to her fans that she would not be able to perform in some gigs organised on Independence Day due to her condition.
“I am sorry to announce that I will not be able to perform in some places because of my condition. Thank you my fans and everyone for wishing me well, still strong thank you for the love and prayers,” she wrote.
