Search for Mr. and Miss IUEA starts

Oct 03, 2017

Last year, Zambia's Milton Mwila and Uganda's Alice Namutebi took the crown.

Last year, Zambia's Milton Mwila, 25, a second year civil engineering student, clinched Mr. IUEA. Uganda's Alice Namutebi, 21, a first year student of Human Resource Management was also crowned Miss IUEA in what happened to be the most spirited beauty contest of International University of East Africa (IUEA).

The two stood out as favourites for the 2016/17 university's faces from a pool of 30 contestants, both male and female, at a fanfare event that took place at the school's campus in Kasanga .

Through various activities, all contestants were tasked to impress and prove they are worth being faces of the institute. Fashion, as it is the norm for such contests, was at the fore-front.

This year, the organisers promise bigger and better as more emphasis will be put on the candidates/aspirants who will represent them fully to the Miss University global and continental peagents.
