Standup comedian Patrick Idringi aka Salvador is returning with "Man from Ombokolo" show, October 27, to be held at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala. This will be the second edition for the comedian who has had an eventful year, performing on a number of international gigs.

At the press briefing held at The Lawns on Tuesday evening to announce the show, Salvador promised his fans rich material that will take a dig at so much that has happened on the social and political scene of Uganda.

"With all that is happening around, I cannot fail to find what to joke about for three hours," the beefy comedian said. "The media, this family that has made me and sometimes broken me but we have the strongest bond because no matter how much we fight, at the end of the day we get to appreciate ourselves.

"This wouldn't have been without God's blessings. I am not lucky, I am blessed. To see these big brands coming out to support my show shows that they do not only believe in me but the talent that Uganda has. I almost gave up doing this show. I will have a beautiful and educational show."

"I have not been performing frequently in Uganda because international standards don't allow me," he joked.

"The Singleton experience is one of crafting immediately pleasurable whisky experiences and an evening with the country's leading comedian, Salvado is a guarantee of laughter and pleasure," said Annette Nakiyaga, head of Whisky Portfolio at Uganda Breweries.

Salvado is currently part of Glo Laffta Fest, a comedy tour in Nigeria, only comedian from outside the West African state participating in the tour.

He was recently nominated in the coveted Savannah Comics Choice Awards in South Africa, where he made it to the top five.
