Uganda gets sh360b from Global Partnership for Education

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) has given Uganda a grant of $100m about sh360b>

"I appreciate the support rendered by the Global Partnership for Education towards strengthening education systems in Uganda," Education minister Janet Museveni said.

The First Lady who had accompanied President Yoweri Museveni to the UN General Assembly said while at UNGA, she held a meeting with the Chairperson Board of Directors of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), Julian Gillard.

"We talked about the $100 million Global Partnership for Education Grant for Uganda and the possible opportunity to trigger another partnership," she said.
