City music producer Danz Kumapeesa (born Daniel Mukisa) who was allegedly bludgeoned by burglars in his home in Busabala three months ago is receiving more help.

The latest contributor to his huge hospital bill of sh25m is Chris Mbibo, a Ugandan businessman based in South Africa, commonly known on the social scene as Cameroon Gitawo.

Through his friend Ray Superstar, Gitawo offered sh3m to help ease the bill the family owes the hospital.

Kumapeesa remains admitted at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.

Gitawo, who is based in South Africa, came to Kumapeesa's rescue

Gitawo's gesture follows recent calls from local celebrities to come to the music producer's rescue.

The money was handed over to Kumapeesa's mother Florence Nankya, at the hospital. He joins a list of other celebrities like Bebe Cool, SK Mbuga, Maureen Nantume and Gravity Omutujju who have already heeded the calls.

Kumapeesa is known to be the force behind songs like Bebe Cool's recent club hit Mboozi za Malwa and Winnie Nwagi's Musaawo.
