What are his intentions?

I have been in a relation for three years and last year, my fiancé suggested that we make our relationship official.  So we scheduled our introduction and wedding ceremonies for September the same year.

Unfortunately, finances become a challenge and we kept on postponing the events. Worse still, my parents asked for costly bride price which my fiancé willingly accepted to pay. 

However, I got pregnant and he says we postpone further until I give birth but I'm afraid of my family's reaction when they learn of pregnancy.

My fiancé has also changed, he answers rudely whenever I raise the issue of our wedding.

He claims that now that there is a child coming, he is securing its future thus marriage should wait.

Is he using the baby as a scape goat not to marry me?
