Aka Dope music was held on Friday at The Square. The event went as expected, attracting a sizeable number of youthful partygoers.

On the night, aside from the free-flowing Uganda Waragi cocktails served, it was started off with the band playing covers as a way of revving up the evening. Then artistes Silent Treatment, Soni Sowiz and Honourable Chief did their songs not really familiar to many in attendance.

One can say the night's highlight came from saxophonist Sax Olara whose jazz version of Whitney Houston's "I will Always Love You" got everyone off their haunches.

He is surely a force to reckon with.

It was a fun-filled night that has all potential to grow into a fantastic event on the entertainment calendar.
