Former Arthur Blick's navigator Unisan Bakunda started his rally career on a good note with a win in the MOSAC autocross championship on Sunday in Mukono district.

 Youngsters Ali Omar in green and Alistair Blick in a yellow buggy battle it out.

"I think this is good preparation for the Pearl Rally and I think winning has motivated me a lot," Bakunda stated.

Meanwhile, youngster Ali Omar Jr. is targeting this year's national Autocross and Buggy championships.

Omar disclosed this after winning the buggy category of MOSAC organised Autocross and 4x4 wheel drive Car championships.

The 14-year-old, also managed to finish 10th in the autocross category of the championship.

"Though am not so happy finishing 10th in the autocross today, I am happy that I won the buggy category and I think my hope of winning both the autocross and buggy championships is still alive," Omar Jr. stated.

Omar posted a time of six minutes and 13 seconds (6.13) to beat former national rally champion Arthur blick Jr.(6.37) and his son Alistair Blick (7.37) who finished second and third respectively.
