Villa skipper Lwanga joins Vipers

Lwanga will fill the void left by Keziron Kizito who joined Kenya side AFC Leopards

 

Vipers SC have confirmed the signing of SC Villa captain Taddeo Lwanga

The midfielder reportedly sealed a two year deal with the 2014/15 Uganda Premier League champions. 

Lwanga joined SC Villa two years ago from rivals Express. His contract at Villa Park came to end he was not willing to renew it. 

Lwanga will fill the void left by Keziron Kizito who joined Kenya side AFC Leopards. 

Defensive midfielder Siraje Sentamu and Alfred Leku are the other players that are likely to leave Vipers for lack of playing time. 

Lwanga joins Umar Kasumba and Paul Mboowa who also left SC Villa. 

Kasumba joined Kenya's Sofapaka while Mboowa is on the verge of sealing a move to URA. 

Dennis Kamanzi who still has one year on his contract at Villa has requested to leave the club according to sources. 

Villa finished second in the league with 58 points, eight behind champions KCCA.
