Ochan heroics send KCCA to group stage

CAF Confederation Cup: Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan saves two penalties as KCCA beat Egyptian side Al Masry to storm the group stage.

KCCA FC goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan was the hero of the day as he saved two penalties to help the Ugandan outfit past Egypt's Al Masry and into the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.

Ochan was called into critical service after normal time of play ended 1-0, with the tie leveled on 1-1, thanks to KCCA's 1-0 triumph in Kampala in the first leg.

The penalty shootout saw the Ugandan goalkeeper stop two Al Masry takes before he himself tucking home his penalty to help KCCA win 5-4 on penalties and advance to the group stage.

KCCA had beaten Al Masry 1-0 in the first leg in Kampala the week before
