UNIVERSITY FOOBALL LEAGUE

Today's fixture

MUBS v Nkumba at MUBS (2pm)

Nkumba University sports tutor and football team head coach Patrick Ssebuliba has urged his footballers to work ahead of their visit to MUBS on Wednesday.

MUBS and Nkumba won their first games of the league - Nkumba beat St. Lawrence 4-0 while MUBS were 2-0 winners over Kumi last month.

The two teams have met four times before, with Nkumba winning twice and MUBS once. But the latter have won the title twice.

"We have a very good record away. We have never lost away and I believe if my players use all their chances wisely we shall top the group," said Ssebuliba.

"I have played MUBS and know their type of play but we only need to work hard and utilize all our chances. Everyone knows that Nkumba plays well but we normally lose out chances, this time round we have to maintain our unbeaten away record."

Ssebuliba also urged Nkumba fans to reawaken their spirit and rally behind their team. They lost last year's final 2-3 to Kampala University.

"Nkumba fans lost hope and morale last year when we lost to KU in the final but I am confident that we have what it takes to bring it back."
