CAF appoints referees for KCCA's encounters with Sundowns

CAF has appointed Zambia's Janny Sikazwe as the centre referee for the CAF Champions League first leg between Mamelodi Sundowns and KCCA in South Africa next Friday.

Sikazwe one of Africa's top referees, officiated the 2017 AFCON final that Cameroon won after beating Egypt 2-1 in Gabon.

He was also the centre referee at the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup hosted in Japan.

Sikazwe will be assisted by fellow Zambians Bruno Tembo and Amos Nanga Chalwe as the first and second assistants. Wisdom Chewe is the fourth official while An Yan Lim Kee Chong from Mauritius will be the match commissioner.

Simialarly, officials from Botswana will take charge of the return leg in Kampala.

Joshua Bondo will be the centre referee assisted by Moemedi Monakwane and Mogomotsi Morakile as the first and second assistants while Kutlwano Leso will be the fourth official.

Zanzibar's Muhsin Ali Rajab will be the match commissioner.​
