Nankabirwa says government will not tolerate sub-standard education.

The Ugandan goverment  has re-echoed its commitment to improving the quality of education in the country.

This comes after Nakaseke county MP Luttamuguzi Semakula tasked government on the floor of parliament to explain the ongoing closure of private schools that do not comply with the set standards.

It followed claims that some private schools which were closed are better than some government schools.

The government Chief Whip Ruth Nankabirwa said government has plans to improve on its schools but can not look on when some private schools are compromising the standards of education.
